Rhythms Of The Season: Solstice Drum & Dance Circle

Join us as we honor the Solstice, the formal beginning of Summer, the longest day of the year. Come to drum, to move, or simply, be. This is a time to seek nourishment after the actions we’ve taken during the past few cycles of the wheel. All are welcome. As in the past, we’ll meet beyond the parking lot for Meigs Point Nature Center. In the grassy field–you’ll see/hear us as you drive through. A seat or blanket is highly recommended. If you have a favorite instrument you’d like to play, feel free to bring it. A limited number of drums and percussion will be available. Rain/wet weather cancels. Donations welcome.
