Participants will learn the fundamental language of the drum and how to create meaningful dialogue, along with essential playing and listening techniques. We often take a deep-dive into the songs of the dun duns and how those parts and the djembe parts fit together to create multi-layered rhythms. Some drums will be provided or feel free to bring your own djembe, conga or ashiko style drum. $10 requested donation.
