SUMMARY:Community Hand Drumming Class
DESCRIPTION:A relaxed exploration into the rhythms of W. Africa and the African Diaspora. Participants will learn the fundamental language of the drum and how to create meaningful dialogue\, along with essential playing and listening techniques. We usually take a deep-dive into the songs of the dun duns and how those parts and the djembe parts fit together to create multi-layered rhythms.
